After retiring from Spartan Marine Hardware and Robinhood Marine Center where I was General Manager  of Spartan Marine and Purchasing Director for Robinhood Marine Center I  took some time off.  My wife and I traveled the East Coast extensively from our home base in Maine. We had accumulated many nautical collectibles along the way as we searched out fabric stores for my wife’s love of creating fabric art in the form of table runners, mola pillows, potholder and many quilts. You will find listed on herr page of Sewn Goods many of theses offering as she continues to feed her passion for sewing useful fabric art pieces as she tries to diminish her stash of fabric. 

While I was at Spartan Marine Hardware I developed many working relationships with artists and foundries and I made the move to producing a line of bronze boat builder plaques, made with care and precision. We also take pride in that they are produced in the USA, including the casting, and the etching of the hull numbers done by a local jeweler that specializes in laser etching. I am very happy to be able to provide Cape Dory owners with plaques they can proudly display in a timely manner. The offering, albeit small does represent a large number of boats produced by Cape Dory during it’s prolific boatbuilding times.
